Bank Fraud The use of potentially illegal means to obtain money, assets, or other property owned or held by a financial institution, or to obtain money from depositors People use it to make easy money illegally Charles Ponzi discovered that he could purchase postal coupons at a discount, ship them abroad, and sell them for full price.

Blackmail The action, treated as a criminal offense, of demanding money from a person in return for not revealing compromising or injurious information about that person.
