China 1911revolution By Bart

Social conditions Xinhai Wuchang Uprising on the eve of China's various social contradictions as intensifying the people's ongoing struggle against the revolutionaries launched an armed uprising constantly. In 1906, the Qing court throws "constitutionalism", and its essence is to strengthen the powers of the royal family, the majority of constitutionalists are extremely unhappy; 1908 Empress Dowager Cixi and Emperor Guangxu have died, only 3 years old Xuantong emperor Pu Yi ascended the throne.

In May 1911, the Qing government announced the cabinet list Manchu people have nine ,Han has four. Has been called the "royal cabinet." Constitutionalists this disappointment, there are a few people attended the revolutionary party. In order to obtain the support of foreign countries, in order to maintain its rule, the Qing government in Guangdong, Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan and other places of business income for the state-run railway, and then sold to foreign countries, setting off a nationwide mass movement of peoples to resist - Paul movement.

What make it happen?
