Contexte AB Mayor records, like the rest of the country, A high rate of maternal and infant mortality causing human suffering and significant economic losses. A policy taking into account the living conditions of the population may change this situation and raise the Mayor as a social model of development and well-being in the country.
The health sector united approach implementation has not achieved the expected results. Indeed, with its implementation, a partial improvement was observed. And auditing of death showed that most occurred among illiterate or uneducated families, and low socioeconomic level.

This situation is largely observed in households living in slums, who have not had access to education, which have a low income and do not have access to care This state causes considerable losses on the local and national economy
There is need to let local communities to make decisions at their level. In this way, they can set themselves the problems they face The reduction in maternal and infant mortality will save important shares at the state budget
