KINIX is a not profit IXP, first realization of DRC-IX project whose two other phases to be realized are LUBIX and GOMIX Synergy KINIX 1(2003-2003) KINIX 2 (2012 to now) Nomber of peers :7 Traffic volume: between 400 Mbps and 1.5 Gbps Supported Previous days free ports (supported of ISPA-DRC) Currently paying ports Caming action : attraction Added values hosting Applications that can contribute to improving the services quality of peers Content (international CDN and local CDN)

International CDN : Reconciliation of end-user content CHALLENGES The existence of a synergy between the various actors in the national Internet ecosystem ISP: Social Dynamics International CDN : Reconciliation of end-user content Local CDN : Creating and promoting content Regulator : Regulation adapted to the peering development Government : Endow the country with Internet infrastructures (digital transport and storage ) and encouraging private investment Technical and technological appropriating through training and knowledge exchange Encourage the Internet use to make public services more accessible to the general public (end users)
