Based on discussions, my observations so far UCVM is an excellent community Robust DVM and graduate education programs High research intensity and impactful research Our stakeholders express satisfaction with UCVM Some expressions of fatigue Develop a new strategic plan Review and revise our curriculum Grow and foster a culture of collegiality, inclusiveness and transparency Cohesive teams to capitalize on new opportunities Grow our unique identity within and outside of University of Calgary

Framework Integration of simpler and collegial administration with advanced physical infrastructure is critical to realize the potential of students, staff, and faculty. Excellence in research, teaching, and service is a multi-step, evolving, and collaborative process. Solidifying the foundation and sustainable growth are two of the keys.
