Florida Teacher Certification Examinations May/June 2015 Rule Updates Adopt “Competencies and Skills Required for Teacher Certification in Florida, Twenty‐Second Edition,” which includes updated competencies and skills for selected examinations. May/June 2015: Recommendations for revisions to Competencies and Skills: Reading K–12 Preschool Education (Birth‐Age 4)

SAEs Subject Area Exam K-6 Junior Year PARTICIPATE in a SAE K-6 Workshop (Elem Ed only)* SELECT a Test Date and Site, Some material on two of the four subtests might be reviewed in courses concurrent with Elementary Education Internship I. MAE 4326 How Children Learn Mathematics RED 4942 Practicum for Assessment and Instruction of Reading. Teacher candidates in Subject Areas other than Elementary Education (K-6) are advised to study their Test Information Guide provided by the Florida Department of Education and contact their Program Coordinator for information about study materials.
