Products/Solutions/Expertise of C-DAC Mumbai in Smart City Domain Biometric SDKs (Fingerprint, Iris)

C-DAC Fingerprint SDK C-DAC Fingerprint SDK is a fingerprint authentication technology designed for biometric system developers and integrators. The technology delivers fast and accurate system performance for fingerprint matching in 1-to-1 and 1-to-many modes. Salient features Supports FMR (Fingerprint Minutiae Record, ISO/IEC 19794-2:2005) Supports fingerprint of Juvenile and Older age group. Average Matching time <0.1 sec using ISO fingerprint template. (Extensible to less than 300 ms depending on Hardware) and avg. extraction time < 1sec. Supports Slap Segmentation (Ten-print). Supports sensor interoperability. Proprietary Quality checks. 10 lac matches per hour. FRR <2% on FAR <0.01%.

C-DAC Iris SDK C-DAC Iris SDK is an Iris authentication technology designed for biometric system developers and integrators. The technology delivers fast and accurate system performance for iris matching in 1-to-1 and 1-to-many modes. Salient features Identification (1:N) / Verification (1:1). The system is fully interoperable and compliant to International Standard: ISO/IEC 19794 – 6:2011. A high performance Iris Recognition System, suitable for government and security agencies. It is equipped with a multi-layered robust quality assessment scheme, which makes it highly suitable for non-ideal environments. The system also enables identification of persons with Spectacles, Contact Lenses, persons from distance and with wide gaze angles.

Standards and Achievements The Standards supported by the C-DAC’s Biometric Solutions: Fingerprint Standards ISO/IEC 19794-2:2005 ISO/IEC 19794-4:2005 ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2011 ANSI/INCITS 378-2004 ILO-SID Standards Iris Standards ISO/IEC 19794 -6:2011 . Achievements The Fingerprint and the Iris module is accepted by UIDAI (UAT approved) as the system has shown the desirable performance. The system works at par with the other National/International Biometric solutions. Real time system. Supports Fingerprint Classification (Henry Classification) and Slap Segmentation. Available for Windows, Linux and Android.
