VEX Test Kit Introduction Ahasan Bhuiyan & Tinu Bennappan Block C

VEX Micro-Controller The VEX micro-controller is the center of the VEX robotics system. It receives input from the remote control and processes it. After that, it activates the motors connected to it.

Power pack The power pack is the main source of power in the VEX system. It transmits power to the VEX micro- controller, enabling it to perform its tasks. When the battery runs out, the power pack can be charged with the VEX smart charger.

Remote control The VEX remote control collects the user’s input and sends it to the VEX micro-controller. Joysticks can be used to control the speed of motors connected to the micro-controller.

USB Cable The USB cable connects the remote controller to the VEX micro- controller.

Servo/Motor Motors are connected to the micro- controller and are used to power wheels. The motors themselves can spin at adjustable speeds. They can also spin clockwise or anticlockwise continuously.

Small Axle The small axle attaches the slip clutch to the motor. It supports the weight of the slip clutch.

Slip Clutch The slip clutch fits over the small axle and connects to the 2” square bar. The wheel rests on top of it.

The 2” square bar holds the wheel. It is connected to the slip clutch.

Small wheels Wheels are the final step of the VEX Test Kit. They are spun by the motors.
