I abuse V@-!s I use the wrong notes for V@-! I don’t resolve the diss 4th above the bass correctly, 4-3 (in other words, I don’t take dissonant ^1 down to ^7) I don’t double the correct tone (^5; aka, the bass tone) I start my V@-!s on weak beats I lead into my V@-!s with other dominant-function chords I don’t prepare my dissonant 4th (^1); (either CT or stepwise approach from above ^2-^1) I still forget to raise leading tones in V!
