Seven Kings Student Council 2017-2018 Miss Hannabuss & Mr Russell

What is the student council? The student council will be split into two small committees. We will be looking for three 6th formers to lead each committee. We are looking for students who will be committed, inspiring and confident leaders.

What is the student council? Below are the 2 sub groups forming the school council: School improvement leaders Contribute to school improvement Work with departments to organise, implement and present student voice findings They will be the VOICE of the students Community Leaders You will support prefects with duties around the school You will co-ordinate the schools charity work This will include community projects: see next slide

What is the student council? E.g. cake sales, fair, sporting events, Organising food banks, OAP Christmas carols/ dinner And any other great ideas!

Benefits of Student Councils You will be an influential role in the school You will develop your leadership skills Opportunity to make changes within the school from your point of view Well recognised and valued when applying for future positions such as: Universities/ collages Jobs
