Interest Meeting Agenda I. Overview of scholarship Student must travel to a country in which the language s/he is studying at Penncrest is an official language Student/family must select a program of at least 3 weeks The program may be homestay, or in a school setting; Student/family is responsible for due diligence in evaluating the travel abroad program/organization

Interest Meeting Agenda IV Application process Submit all parts of the application by 10/20/16 Interviews – December 1st (student and parent) Notification – by letter the following week Student/family research programs (notify Mrs. Riviere when selected) Checks distributed March/April Contact Mrs. Riviere with an update during the summer “Sell” the program at the Interest Meeting next September and at the WL Fête in the Spring

Forms and deadlines- http://www.rtmsd.org/page/1023 Distribute forms to guidance counselors and teachers; ask them to return forms directly to Mrs. Riviere Complete and return student and parent statement with the application form Students: FOLLOW UP to be sure that all forms are submitted NO LATER than the application due date. (late applications will not be considered for the scholarship)
