The Shell and the Glasses Chapter 10 The Shell and the Glasses

Summary In this chapter, Jack and his hunters need to make a fire. Unfortunately, they don’t have anything to ignite the fire. So, Jack uses propaganda to convince his tribe that Ralph’s tribe is a threat. They go beat up Ralph’s tribe to retrieve Piggy’s glasses to make the fire and are successful. “They didn’t come for the conch. They came for something else.”-Piggy “He was a chief now in truth; and he made stabbing motions with his spear. And from his left hand dangled Piggy’s broken glasses.”
