Universities OF Transition : The Virtual Network Model A few thoughts Aim: A higher educational platform with a menu of courses aimed at education & re-skilling for the transition toward a post peak oil, zero carbon, re-localised future How: Builds on a network of existing courses offered across the UK Organisation: A network with a ‘hub’ (or series of hubs) and satellite clusters What: Menu of short & degree courses: inspirational, academic; vocational Audience: Students design their own program; life-long learning with optional degree level accreditation
