FREE TIME ACTIVITIES IN OUR HOMETOWN ZESTOA There are not a lot of free time activities in Zestoa, because it is a little town. So for young people when we arrive home from school we do our homework, we go to private classes, we do sport activities or we meet up with friends. In the music school we learned the singing of scales or playing an instrument… But this isn´t the music school from Zestoa. In the Basque dances we learned the typical dances from the Basque Country

In the summer, we usually go to the beach in a nearby town 15 minutes away: Zumaia. We go by bus. We go to festivals that are in other towns near Zestoa too. But these photos we took are in the festival of Zestoa.

On Christmas holidays we sing carols to Olentzero On Christmas holidays we sing carols to Olentzero. Olentzero is like Noel, Father Cristmas, the Three Wise Men, Santa or Saint Nicholas in other places. Olentzero in the Basque Country. Also like in other places we meet up with our family for family dinners on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve etc This is Olentzero, the charcoal dealer who brings our presents from the mountains
