“Council will establish a network of closely collaborating professional communication officers from each Member state, which would incorporate existing activities, propose, implement and monitor a European particle physics communication and education strategy and report on a regular basis to Council.”
Programme Day 1: 9:00-12:00 Exhibition open to invited target guests from the European Parliament, the European Commission, industry and the non-science media. 10:00: Media launch of the European strategy for particle physics. 12:30-16:00 Exhibition open to the public. 16:30-17:30 Public round table: “Can we afford big science?” with three presenters plus the CERN Director General, DG research and the chairs of the European Parliament committees on budget and research. 17:30-19:00 Invitation only Networking reception in the exhibition area to follow the round table. Day2/3/4: Possible public opening of the exhibition depending on venue and the availability of people to man the stands.
