Above all use your creativity! Plan before you start (google examples – ‘cardboard city’, ‘homemade model of a city’, etc.) You can build your model with Minecraft, if you have the know-how Watch a how-to tutorial on YouTube (try the same keywords as above) You can use your created map as a floor or take a bigger sheet of paper or skip the floor entirely Take 1/6 of the available building stuff, if you need something specifically ask others to share Choose a style, e.g. use similar colours or go colourful! Don’t forget that trees / cars (if applicable) might make your model look much more lively and realistic! Above all use your creativity! Tips for building
Part 2: making an album/poster It is just as important to nicely present your model, thus we will need to make an album or a poster Using a floor and a background will make your photos look seamless (note: this can be added afterwards with Photoshop or similar software) Choose the right angles (i.e. just as taking photos of your food) Example: http://cargocollective.com/alexwexler/Behance Part 2: making an album/poster
