Topic of the Day: Alcohol Abuse Is alcohol a drug? What is an alcoholic? How would you define an alcoholic? Have you ever known an alcoholic or someone who drinks heavily?

Topic of the Day: Alcohol Abuse Some people use alcohol when they feel under stress. What do you think about this behavior? Do you think that being drunk should be against the law? Do you think people can be excused either legally or morally for their actions when drunk? Are the drinking and driving laws in your country too strict, not strict enough or just about right?

Almost everyone knows about the health dangers of alcohol consumption. THINGS WE KNOW…. Almost everyone knows about the health dangers of alcohol consumption. But do you know this: the use of alcohol is similar to the use of food. When we are in victim mentality we may try to feel better by using alcohol. We try to comfort ourselves from our victim mentality; our negative emotions and upsets. This “strategy” may work for a short time, but in doing so we are using things that are unhealthy and dangerous or even illegal. Source: www.trpnet.com
