Conceptual Models
What is a conceptual model? a mental model of how things in our surrounding environment work based on information received through scientific data and observations important diagnostic tool, widely used in meteorology
Brief History meteorological CM’s first appeared in early 1990’s since then, many have been identified and described in various literature 1996 – “Manual of Synoptic Satellite Meteorology – Conceptual Models” started by the Austrian Meteorological Institute (ZAMG)
