What is GPRO? Group Practice Reporting Option 2 or more eligible providers under one TIN Separate registration with CMS must be completed by June 30, 2015 AAD QRS supports GPRO in 2015
GPRO Measures Requirements Report at least 9 measures. Report at least 50% of applicable patients for each measure for the full year. Measures should cover at least 3 National Quality Strategy domains. Measures should cover at least 1 “cross-cutting measure.”
How to Register Create IACS account at https://applications.cms.hhs.gov Use IACS account information to login at https://portal.cms.gov Register as a GPRO at the Physician Value-Physician Quality Reporting System (PV-PQRS) Registration System
Important Items Registration must be completed by June 30, 2015. One cannot cancel, nor edit the registration after June 30, 2015. Once registered as a GPRO, no providers who bill under the TIN can report individually.
Important Items cont. An eligible provider who joins the practice after the June 30 deadline will still need to report individually. By reporting as a GPRO, you are agreeing to have the results of your performance on PQRS measures publicly posted on the Physician Compare website. The performance rates will apply to the entire group.
