The most useful tools to use Web Design Software Very helpful in creating an online classroom so that you can attach helpful links and other web-based lessons Interactive Whiteboard Activity Software Offers features that allow engagement and interaction for students during lesson. Also allows to edit and write notes on documents and save documents for later use. Worksheet Generator Great way to quickly generate worksheets for students when need to use for drill and practice or just additional practice on certain skills. This is also a way to differentiate by generating different levels of difficulty based on students abilities. Student Information Systems Provides students, parents and administration with quick and easy access on students progress. PowerSchool is used through our district and it not only provides easy grade look up but other important student data as well as a way to email parents in your classes, individually or as a whole at one time. PDF and forms maker Allows you to create documents that can be completed online

Useful tools…. Student response systems or clickers Quick and Easy way for teachers to assess students understanding of a topic. Teacher can provide a question, students enter their answers into their clickers and immediate feedback is given Student Information Systems Allows teachers to quickly and easily take attendance and maintain other relevant information on students Electronic Gradebook Gradebook that allows teachers to enter different assessments and assignments, input students grade, and it automatically calculates students grades. Test Generators A useful tool in creating tests that provides data bank and item banks of questions that you can pull from. It provides a large variety of questions and you can usually filter down to standard specific questions which makes it easier to find relevant test questions. Many programs provide an answer key as well. Computer Based Testing Allows students to test on the computer. Can be bubble sheet or response questions. Many computer based testing allows students to enter answers and it grades it immediately, making it easier on the teacher and more immediate feedback for the students.

Useful tool… Scheduling, Calendar and Time Management Tools Very useful in organizing and managing time. Can better keep up with meetings and appointments. Lesson Planning Software Provides a format in order to outline your lesson plan for the week. Great way to make sure you are prepared and ready to teach your lessons for the week. Graphing Calculator A very useful tool for students to perform arithmetic operations quickly. The graphing tool is a great feature because it allows students to visually what is going on and hopefully expand and deepen knowledge. Online Survey Tools Useful feature to get feedback from students on different aspects of the overall classroom environment Desktop publishing software Allows to easily create letters, brochures, awards, badges, bathroom passes, and other documents helpful for your classroom
