TODAL is an Acronym ASAP An acronym is a “word” formed from the beginning letter of each word of a list or phrase that you want to shorten or remember. s oon ASAP s ossible

T Title = The title of the map is a label that tells what the map shows. For example: Physical Map of South America

O Orientation = This is the compass rose on your map, indicating north, south, east & west.

For example: September 15, 2008 D Date = This tells when the map was made. This should be the date on which you created your map. For example: September 15, 2008

For example: Joshua Smith Author = This is the person who made the map. You must include your name on the maps you create. For example: Joshua Smith

L Legend = The legend, or key, shows what the symbols, lines or colors on the map represent. For example:
