NURSING INTERNSHIP OPORTUNITY The Department of Health Systems and Services (HSS) of the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) is looking for energetic individuals entering the field of human resources for health and/or public health. Selected interns will work under the supervision of the Regional Advisor on Nursing and Allied Health Personnel to help achieve the organization’s strategic plans in relation to human resources for health and nursing in the region of the Americas. This opportunity will provide an understanding of global health and nursing issues and the role of international health organizations. Candidates who are interested in providing services to the organization on a voluntary basis should email resume and a letter of intent highlighting experience in similar areas. Though knowledge of the Spanish and/or Portuguese language(s) are not required, they are preferred.
