Transportation: Sitting Comfortably Sitting for 8 hours a day is tough, especially if you have to deal with 50 screaming children and the weather! Here are a few tips for making the drive more comfortable: Sit into the seat properly. Turn your back to the seat. Sit down while holding onto the wheel and back side of the seat, then turn your legs to face the front. Adjust the seat to fit your body! Sit comfortably, with your feet flat on the floor. Be sure the lumbar support of the back rest is aligned with your belt line. Stretch Often. Stretch out the left leg often when waiting for student pick ups. Stretch and take advantage of “down times” between drop-offs and pick-ups. Confidential-Client Use Only
