PROVERBS 1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel: To know wisdom and instruction, To perceive the words of understanding, To receive the instruction of wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity; To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion— A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel, To understand a proverb and an enigma, The words of the wise and their riddles. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

DISCERNMENT AS CHRISTIANS WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL OF THE DECISIONS WE MAKE, THE COMPANY WE KEEP, AND THE PEOPLE WE ALLOW TO INFLUENCE US.

CONSTANT Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? James 4:1

CONSTANT BE CONSISTENT IN OUR WORDS AND ACTIONS, BE LOYAL TO GOD, TO OUR CHURCH, AND TO OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS.

INTEGRITY “WHOEVER WALKS IN INTEGRITY WALKS SECURELY, BUT WHOEVER TAKES CROOKED PATHS WILL BE FOUND OUT” PROVERBS 10:9

“But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by Heaven, for it is God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great king. Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your yes be yes and your No No. For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”

INTEGRITY A TRAIT THAT IS EARNED AND CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED THROUGH HARD WORK AND DISCIPLINE

RESOURCEFUL In getting the message out in today’s world the Lord wants us to use our resources and to be creative in reaching those who are lost.

CREATIVE It is okay to be creative in your approach and it is okay to use your resources in reaching out to the people around us. We have all been blessed with different abilities and different interests. We need to capitalize on these differences. The Lord gave us these differences for a reason.

CARING In Joshua 2:12, it reads “Now then, please swear to me by the Lord that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you”

INTUITIVE ability to perceive based on what one feels to be true even without conscious reasoning.

MINDFUL Psalm 26:3 says for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love and have lived in reliance of your faithfulness.
