School Web Think of the living and nonliving elements of our school.

Getting Ready for Dwarf African Frogs: Prep 24 hours before set-up Rinse gravel until water pours out clear. Place gravel in container along with a plastic cup for scooping. Rinse plastic tanks with warm water (no soap). Fill pails with water, add a drop of tap water conditioner to each, and stir with a clean spoon

Dwarf African Frogs Open bags Allow shipping bags to come to room temperature—bags can be floated in prepared water Remove 1/3 of shipping water and replace with aged and treated water Wait 15 minutes Never allow any of shipping water into tanks

Dwarf African Frogs Repeat water replacement procedure Wait another 15 minutes Net and transfer to holding tanks Discard shipping water Do not feed until next day Frogs do best in a temperature of 72 degrees F Feed daily-flake food Stress—never mix shipping water with your aged water—shipping water has bad stuff in it!
