Put your team on the front foot Easy-to-grab junk food has been getting a greater grip on our lives than ever before. This November, help take a stand against this serious problem by giving up junk food for the 30 days of November. No Junk November is a fun challenge for people to come together and learn how to curb urges and kickstart a healthier lifestyle – all while raising funds for heart disease prevention and research. nojunknovember.com.au

30 days. Could your team do it? We’ll help you get across the line with regular tips and lifestyle advice to survive the month. Overconsumption of junk food is a problem for people of all ages, shapes and sizes. Not only does it contribute to chronic disease, including overweight and obesity, it contributes to nutrient deficiencies through the displacement of core foods. Alarmingly, the progress we are making against heart disease – the leading single cause of death in WA - has slowed down. Australian households are already spending 58% of their food budget on “junk” food and drinks. Encourage your community to make a stand to give up all junk food or a particular food or drink that is a junk food weakness during November.
