DISCUSSION BOARD Topic: Learning Styles First, take a short quiz to determine your learning style. Remember, this quiz does not measure your intelligence. It is intended to help you become more aware of your learning style so that you can use that information to enhance your studying and learning. On the discussion board, discuss your results of the learning style quiz by responding to the following: Did you have an "Aha!" moment looking at your results of your learning style quiz? Were you surprised? If so, how? Now that you have this information about your learning style, will you make any changes in how you study? How will you make your learning style work for you?

Learning Styles VISUAL AUDITORY TACTILE

Visual, Auditory, Tactile Which learning style describes how you learn best? Which learning style is your least effective style? How can you use both your dominant learning style and your least dominant learning style in traveling the road to academic success?

Success in Criminal Justice How can you use the knowledge of your learning style to aid in your success in Criminal Justice? Why would it be important to push yourselves towards strength in all three styles for your CJ careers? Give some examples where this might be helpful.

Overview We discussed different learning styles and how to make them work for you. As you move forward in your studies, you can use what you have learned about your own learning style to make informed decisions about your study habits and future work environment.
