They will emphasize that clothing need not be expensive and survival clothing (wetsuits/dry suits) may be rented. There will also be informative and humorous look at all the items needed for an ordinary day of kayaking (and how to pack them). Open Water - Flowing Lake Saturday April 8, 2017 Donna Garland, John Morton, Doug Garland, Yana Radenska, and Dan Hale will be the primary instructors.   This activity will span approximately 8 hours and starts at 8:00 AM. Please arrive by 7:45 to help get gear and boats offloaded   Activity Presenter Time allowed Welcome Bill Coady 5 minutes Gear Match Get everyone matched up with their rented gear 60 minutes Get Wet Self rescue, Assisted rescue, possible short paddle Group Leaders/ Students 120 minutes Lunch 30 minutes Get Back On The Water Forward stroke, reverse stroke, draws, bracing, edging Clean Up Return all rented gear, debrief, further debriefing at dinner. Boat tie down demonstration In the parking lot at Flowing Lake Dan Hale/ 20 minutes Class Wrap Up Dinner unlimited
