A trip to Buckfast Abbey! BY AMELIA AND KATIE

STAINED GLASS WINDOW! This is the stained glass Window that is made Out of colourful chiselled Glass! It was beautiful! Everyone loved it.

The Abbey itself! The Abbey itself was built by four monks! Other people did help but that’s why when it was built it took so long. Back then there was no cranes or diggers just built by people and some hoists!!!

The alter! The alter is a gold table where people drink wine and eat bread because when Jesus was killed he said to the people told people that he wanted them to eat bread to represent his body and red wine to represent his blood.

The chandelier! It was stunning it glistened in the centre of the Abbey!
