Chiolero - Internet resources NCD alliance http://www.ncdalliance.org/ - The purpose of the NCD Alliance website is to provide the latest news, resources and information on the global campaign for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The website will serve as a campaign hub, a platform for advocacy, and a resource for sharing information among the wider global health community. - We are a formal alliance of four international federations representing the four main NCDs outlined in the World Health Organization’s 2008-2013 Action Plan for NCDs – cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, and chronic respiratory disease. These conditions share common risk factors (including use, physical inactivity and unhealthy diets) and also share common solutions, which provide a mutual platform for collaboration and joint advocacy.
