Letters as characters – to and from story characters. Art and Design: Designing costumes for characters. Exploring different textures and fabrics to represent characters from stories. What would the characters wear in the story? Would that change if the story was set in a different climate? Which materials or fabrics would you use? Design and Technology: Designing and making props fro story retelling. How might a story we know end differently? What would happen if you changed the characters? What would a character from one of the stories write a letter about? Who would they write it to? Which character would you write a letter to? Why?
