ADC GAP Project Program initiated approximately 9 years ago Identify inmates that have NO Arizona criminal history by checking to see if there is a SID on file GAP Cases: A few GAP cases include duplicate fingerprints, no FBI number, etc. Two fingerprint ID does not return a SID Since start of program, over 1,200 inmates with criminal history issues have been identified and submitted through the GAP program Two Categories New Intake: Type 22 fingerprint on intake Existing Inmate: Type 22 fingerprint of subset of population Existing: 2016: Approximately 666 with no fingerprint identifier New Intake: 2011: 69 2012: 76 2013: 82 2014: 100 2014: 105 2015: 111 2016 YTD: 19
