What are considered Khafre’s two greatest accomplishments? King Khafre built one of the three Great Pyramids. He also built a sphinx in front of his great pyramid.

Where did Khafre build his pyramid and why does it appear bigger than the rest? Khafre built his pyramid next to his father Khufu’s pyramid. It appears to be bigger than the rest because it was built on higher ground than the other two pyramids. King Khafre’s King Khufu’s

What are some visual representations that exist of Khafre? Still standing today there is a sphinx, temples that were built for him, pyramids built for him, and a few statues of him from ancient Egypt. There is also half of his face.

How was Menkaure’s pyramid (the smallest) different than the rest? It was much smaller than the other two. It was much less famous than the other ones.

Who was he the son of and who did he marry? Menkaure was the son of Khafre. Menkaure married his sister, Khamerernebty II.

Why did he build a smaller pyramid? He didn’t want to repeat his errors in building a very big pyramid.

What remains of Menkaure’s pyramid? Before the pyramid was done, Menkaure died. There is not much left of this pyramid.

How do people now know what he looked like? He has six statues in very very good condition.

Who built the Bent Pyramid and when? King Sneferu built the Bent Pyramid. He built it in 2600 B. C.

How tall is the Bent Pyramid and what are the angles it was built at How tall is the Bent Pyramid and what are the angles it was built at? Why did it change angles? The Bent Pyramid is 344 ft. tall. The angles were 54.52 degrees and 43.43 degrees. If he built super high it would take tons of bricks and work.

This was the first attempt at what and how many burial chambers were in it? It was the first attempt at a smooth sided pyramid. There were 2 burial chambers in the bent pyramid.

Has Sneferu’s body ever been found and where do they believe it is? No, Sneferu’s body hasn’t been found. Egyptologists believe that his body is in the Red Pyramid.
