NOTES: -no blood, guts or gore Spelling List 8 Week 9 Week of: Oct Strive Info Night Spelling List 8 Week 9 This week we are learning how to spell the /e/ sound in the final position of a word. This final /e/ sound can be spelled two ways. The speller has to decide if the word is a jelly bean (one syllable) word or an elephant word (two or more syllables). Then, after deciding if it is a jelly bean or elephant word, choose the correct spelling.
