WARM (Women Assisting Recovering Mothers) Update Capacity – pregnant women are prioritized. Creates challenges when dosing women down and case can be “bumped”. Women with case plans are delayed in reuniting with infant Circle of Security – evaluation follow up Peer Support – positions being posted

Volusia County Branch Jail DTC providing services – currently providing Buprenorphine dosing for those pregnant women assessed with a need Women can’t pay for dosing when they get out OB/GYN’s do not want to take into care when they are on management, far along in pregnancy and can’t maintain due to affordability. Records need to follow women out of jail – implement prenatal passports

Post Partum/Neonatal/Infant Neonatal Outreach Services – expanded to West Volusia Multi-disciplinary Staffing in Hospital(s) – three times weekly DCF and CPC coordination – family engagement, safe baby court team, Infant Mental Health, Early Steps, ELC, family planning, trauma support. Family Planning – coordinate with Health Department

Issues for Increased Awareness for Women on MAT Drowning – Standing Water Hot Car – help caregivers with reminder Safe Sleep – high risk for women who have mental health/substance abuse problems Human Trafficking Domestic/Partner Violence Perinatal Mood Disorders/Post Partum Depression – potential for relapse Shaken Baby – Coping With Crying Adoption – support women who want to adopt

Targeted Awareness Messaging Providers – focus on patient education and engagement Community – broad messaging that educates all potential caregivers Participants – materials, education, and support to directly impact participants. Policy Makers – messaging to help local, state and National policy makers understand and support the issue
