The Elephant and the Gorilla By Molly

The Beginning of the Tale Once, Many Grandfathers ago there lived an Elephant and a Gorilla. They were worst enemy’s and were both forming teams to fight against each other. Well not really fight but just have a big argument .The argument was set in Midday in a weeks time.

Gorilla  Gorilla was quick on getting his team and he got 4 hamsters 3 hedgehogs 2 Foxes and 1 badger. Gorilla was very pleased with his troops and ready for the argument.

Elephant On the other hand Elephant had thought about his troop and he called some animals into his house to see which ones would be best. He picked 4 rabbits 3 sheep 2 squirrels and 1 mouse.

The argument The day of the argument arrived and the two teams lined up in front of each other.

Uh Oh!! But the thing was that Gorilla’s team was not there they were all sleeping so Gorilla quickly rushed to get them but they would not get out of bed.

Something bad for Gorilla! Gorilla called them lazy. Then one of the foxes reminded him that all his team were nocturnal. He told Gorilla that it meant that they sleep in the day and play at night.

Elephant wins So Gorilla went back to Elephant and told him he was on his own. After about 5 minutes Gorilla had surrendered and Elephant had won.
