Common App schools in naviance First create Common App account (Username & Password) Education section FERPA notice “Yes I waive my rights to access…” Then log in to Naviance and complete the FERPA match Colleges tab to ‘colleges I’m applying to” Using email you used to create Common App account

Letter of Recommendation process Pick up a Letter of Recommendation form from counselors or DSF Fill out entirely Go to teacher/counselor/coach/staff and ask if they can write you a letter. If so give them the completed form MAKE SURE YOU ASK A MONTH IN ADVANCE TO ALLOW TEACHERS THE TIME TO WRITE A QUALITY LETTER.

After you have asked a teacher…send the request through naviance….

Scholarship challenge Class of 2016 ----- raised over 1 million dollars in scholarship money Class of 2018 can YOU MEET or EXCEED this amount!?!?!? Don’t forget to bring letters or forward emails with scholarship money listed to DSF or counselors AND copies for college acceptances as well Prizes will be given to scholarship recipients
