FIRST INVENTION This is the phonograph, it was Thomas Edison’s first invention. It was used to record people speaking . It was invented 1877 but was later replaced by the phone.

The light bulb Edison created the electric light bulb in 1879 and had over 1000 unsuccessful attempts. On 22nd October he presented it in Menlo Park.
