University today: following the results of the General evaluation of higher education institutions and specialties RK in 2015: - 8 th place among higher education institutions of the country; - 4 first, 2 second, 3 third places in RK in a range of specialties;; since October, 2012 KGU is the member of the European Association of Universities; annually on specialties of the engineering and agricultural directions more than 20 foreign professors give lectures; one of 10th breakthrough higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan will carry out training for the industrial enterprises of the country and provide scientific and technical support in the priority directions. In June 2014 University passed institutional and specialized accreditation according to international standards in the national accreditation body - the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) for a period of 5 years (certificate of accreditation from 10-11.06.2014). Specialized accreditation was conducted on all specialties of higher and postgraduate education of the University.
