MEETING IN HUNGARY 22-29. September, 2011. Tolerance In My Europe Comenius Lifelong Learning Program Bulgaria – Hungary - Poland

Sept 22nd (Thursday) arrival of the Bulgarian and Polish groups; packing out; looking around the school and the dormitory

Sept 23rd (Friday) - - 10:00 – 12:00: Opening Ceremony in the gym; dances and songs; getting to know each other; forming mixed groups. - 12:30: lunch - 14:00 – 16:00: visit to the local tv studio - 18:00: appearance in the evening program on TV

Sept 24th (Saturday): 9:00 – 14:30: taking part in school’s Family and Health Day with lunch. Mixed groups – various stations. National corners. Signing the declaration „sheet” of tolerance. Trust game. Meeting table tennis players sitting in wheelchairs. Opportunity to play with them and ask them about their lives. Fun games: horse riding, archery, interesting facts about the chocolate, rubbish-selection, shaving a balloon….. At the end: concert of the school’s old-boys-band. 15:00 – 18:00: getting to know Makó. Museum with a short lecture; interesting buildings, adventure park.

Sept 25th (Sunday): - 5:00 – 5:30: getting up, breakfast. - 6:00: setting off for Budapest (2,5-3 hours of travelling) - 9:00 - ~11:00: Invisible exhibition - 12:00: Visiting the Parliament. English guide. - 13:30: lunch - 14:30: Sightseeing: Andrássy Street, the first underground in Europe, Heroes’ Square, the Castle, the Chain Bridge, Fisherman’s Bastion, Gellért hill, Budapest by night. ~18:00-19:00: setting off for home

Sept 26th (Monday 10:00 – 12/13:00: Completing the tolerance glossary. Internet work in mixed groups. Preparing Power Point Presentations. 14:00 – 18:00: Sport afternoon. („méta” – kind of baseball, basketball, volleyball, footbal)

Sept 27th (Tuesday) - 8:00 – 13:00: visit to Szeged, a nearby town. Sights, wandering, museum. 17:00 – 22:00: Farewell party

Sept 28th (Wednesday): - 9:00 – 11:00: Wall painting. in the afternoon: Farewell from the Bulgarian group.

Sept 29th (Thursday): - 10:00: Farewell from the Polish group.
