CONSIDERATION OF GRANT FUNDING WEST & EAST DISTRICT FUNDING OPTIONS CONSIDERATION OF GRANT FUNDING *** GRANTS ARE AN IMPORTANT SOURCE AND WILL BE PURSUED BY CITY STAFF FOR ALL IDENTIFIED PROJECTS. BUT ALL GRANT APPLICATIONS REQUIRE OR ARE MORE FAVORABLY SCORED WITH MATCHING FUNDS. MOST GRANTS PREFER “SHOVEL READY” PROJECTS, BECAUSE THE FEASIBILITY AND PERMITTING HURDLES HAVE BEEN OVERCOME. GRANT EXPLORATION DOES COME AT A COST TO THE CITY IN BOTH INTERNAL RESOURCES AND EXTERNAL CONSULTANTS.

WEST & EAST DISTRICT FUNDING OPTIONS PROBABLY EXCLUDE

WEST & EAST DISTRICT FUNDING OPTIONS THE FOLLOWING TABLE EXPLORES A COMBINATION OF POTENTIAL SOURCES FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION BY THE CITY COUNCIL. THIS ANALYSIS ASSUMES THE WORSE CASE, NO GRANTS OTHER THAN THOSE ALREADY APPROVED. PROBABLY EXCLUDE
