How Should the Unknown Microscopic Organism Be Classified? Inquiry-Based Lab By: M Abdelmessih

Objectives: To understand the structures and purposes of basic components of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, especially macromolecules. membranes, and organelles . To understand the differences and similarities of the three types of cells. To understand the structures and function of different organelles inside the cell. To understand how these cellular components are used to generate and utilize energy in cells. To Develop and explain the appropriate procedures in scientific investigation. Research and apply appropriate safety precautions when designing and conducting scientific investigations Create and clarify the method, procedures, controls and variables in complex scientific investigations. Use appropriate summary statistics to analyze and describe data.

What is Inquiry?

What is Inquiry? . Seeking knowledge or information through questioning. . It allows you to ask questions about new resolutions while you are gaining new information.

Lab 2.1 How Should the Unknown Microscopic Organism Be Classified? What you need to investigate?

Your Task to document the traits of an unknown microscopic organism. Then classify it based on what you know about the characteristics of bacterial, plant and animal cells.
