What is Social Care Innovation Fund? Part of National Social Care Innovation Programme To develop and test new assessment models for disabled children and young people Aim to improve the ‘service user experience’ Deliver better life outcomes for children, young people and their families Offer value for money

Our starting point….. ‘If you want to know how well a pair of shoes fit you ask the person wearing them not the person who made them.’ Anon

Our starting point … recruit a ‘parent’ lead for the project identify 15 families to participate in discovery phase agree co-production as the underlying principle for project: Families Young people Social Workers Schools Voluntary Sector Aim – to deliver better outcomes together!
