Let’s Create An Event! We are a newly recognized StudOrg named Thunderwolves Rock. We want to put on a dance with food and entertainment. Back to the Checklist to Begin! LET’S GET STARTED!

3 Weeks Before the Event Brainstorm Who is our audience? Where are we having our event? Co-Sponsorship? Publicity Plan? Do we need any equipment? Book DJ/Entertainment? Funding?

Ensure that everyone involved is aware of any updates or changes. 2 Weeks Before the Event Order catering Finalize publicity Ensure that everyone involved is aware of any updates or changes.

1 Week Before the Event Create a sign-up sheet to staff the event Meet with staff, co-sponsors, everyone involved. Post publicity Have we made confirmations with everyone involved: venue, DJ, food, etc?

The Week of the Event Review program plan and make final arrangements Complete any necessary shopping Pick up check from cashier, if needed

Day of the Event Arrive early Set up Décor Document the event Pictures, videotape Be prepared to give a short introduction Facilitate and participate in the event

Take down all publicity After the Event Clean up venue Thank all involved Turn in all receipts Evaluation forms Take down all publicity
