Bless the Lord O My Soul

What it means to “bless” the LORD Look at two examples Apply what we have learned

and all that is within me, Psalm 103 1Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name!

It means to speak well of His greatness and goodness — and really mean it from the depths of your soul.

What David is doing in the first and last verses of this psalm, when he says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul,” is saying that authentic speaking about God’s goodness and greatness must come from the soul. Unknown

When we recite this Psalm, WE ARE NOT blessing GOD. When we recite this Psalm, we are expressing how blessed our Lord is – “Blessed are YOU, LORD our God!”

So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

on whose bodies the fire had no power; 27 And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power;

the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.

What Next? Romans 12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
