Ash Topic Maths English This half term’s homework grid is a mixture of English, maths and topic. Each week, choose an activity that you would to do and bring it in on Friday for show and tell (unless for a special occasion or event).The children will get a chance to present their homework to the class. Ash Topic Maths English Art Draw or paint your favourite part of Watchet or home town. ICT Over six weeks, use the Mathletics username and password in your Home/School diary and try to reach 1000 points. http://www.mathletics.co.uk/ Write a few sentences about your favourite part of ‘The Three Little Pigs’. Draw or paint your favourite house in Watchet. Roll three dice and add then all together. Draw a picture of a character from ‘The Three Little Pigs' and use adjectives to describe that character. E.g. cheeky, small, tiny, pink Research and look at how houses are made out of different materials. Write about your favourite house. Practise number bonds on: http://www.conkermaths.org/cmweb.nsf/products/numberbondpairs.html (sections 1, 2, 3 and 4) Design a new front cover for ‘The Three Little Pigs' Look at the different materials that you recycle at home and make a list of everything you recycle. Roll 2 dice and add them together. Then roll one dice and take that away. Write a blurb for the story ‘The Three Little Pigs'
