Solar System Ambassador (SSA) Weekly Highlights December 16-23, 2014 Tony Rice’s Galileo Anniversary Tweet Earle Kyle at Afterschool Science Club Harold Geller’s Curiosity Tweet Dino Tata Presents Library Telescope SSA activity for December 16-23, 2014: Direct:  Fourteen Ambassadors in 9 states conducted 14 events reaching 459 people One Ambassador was interviewed on local radio in Washington with 104,000 estimated viewers One Ambassador had an article printed in a local newspaper with 8,500 estimated readers Two Ambassadors in North Carolina and Virginia crafted tweets on Galileo Earth-Moon photo anniversary and Curiosity’s discovery of methane that were viewed a total of 37,517 times Topics covered this week: Discussed NASA’s small bodies and outer solar system missions with afterschool science club in Colorado Mars discoveries with afterschool science club in Minnesota Participated in library telescope project in Massachusetts Hosted Winter Solstice viewing events in Washington state and Georgia respectively No minors faces are shown in these photographs.
