The American kestrel

The kestrel is the smallest falcon It is sometimes called the sparrow hawk or windhover

Appearances The male has a reddish back, with blue-gray wings and a black band at end of tail The female has reddish wings and back Look for: two thin, black sideburns on a white face It is 13 inches (33 cm long) The color of the female is brownish and the male is slate blue and Its body is shaped is bullet-like.  

Personality They are diurnal birds The difference between the male and female are, the wings of the male are grayish-blue The female has brownish wings It doesn't like when things are behind it. Its niche would be making the water clearer

Habitats The kestrel lives in holes in buildings ,cliffs , trees,parks, suburbs, open fields, forest edges, and deserts. They also use nests abandoned by other birds An American kestrel can protect itself by its speed and eyesight. The speed of the bird is 290 km/h.
