CB – 15 CAPSULE BANDING MACHINE The CB-15 is used to band the joint portions of the cap and body of filled hard gelatin and vegetable base capsules. Capsule sizes 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 are applicable. Maximum 15,000 capsules/hour Fully Automatic 1 YEAR WARRANTY

CB – 15 Operation Capsules are introduced into the rectification system by the hopper. The three rotating drums align the cap and body of each capsule in the same direction. The capsules are transferred to plates where they are banded and dried.

CB – 15 BANDED CAPSULES Two gelatin bands are applied. The gelatin is electrically heated, then applied by the rollers The second roller’s application helps prevent bubbles from forming on the band. The result is a liquid-tight band.

CB - 15 DRYING PROCESS Seven fans placed throughout the CB – 15 use ambient air to gently dry the capsules. Then the finished capsules are drawn from the plates by the vacuum.
