Technology Priorities NEW TECHNOLOGY PURCHASES FES’s Ability to Support New Technology Short & Long-Term Financial Impact Teacher Technology Knowledge & Workability Potential for Growth/Expansion Student Knowledge Base

FES Middle School’s 1:1 iPad Program Each Middle School student will be assigned an iPad, case & iTunes account Middle School ELA given keyboards All teachers assigned Macbook Pros Middle School teachers also have iPads Programs were purchased to increase teacher-student work-flow: eBackpack

Summer Technology Work Strengthened the Technology Support relationship with Del Val All technology was collected and inventoried this summer and evaluated for continued use based on date of purchase, compatibility with instructional programs, etc. Oldest tech. was recycled via Del Val Cleaned up network drive by erasing alumni folders & staff who have left the district All iPads were configured for groups of grades for ease of deployment and teacher requested apps were loaded New forms and iPad Handbook for students developed

Mac/iPad/Technology Training August 19th: Teacher training with Denise on Macbooks and Numbers, Pages, and Keynote- September 1st: Teacher training on Powerschool (New SIS) September 2nd: Teacher training on eBackpack (Middle School and Specialists)- Program utilized with iPads September 9th: iPad Boot Camp with Middle School Ongoing training throughout the year involving Powerschool, Schoolwires, iPads Resources placed on FES website for teacher access

New Technology Forms/Notices New Technology Acceptable use teachers & students iPad Assignment Form Student Pledge for iPpad Use iPad Protection Plan- $40.00 nonrefundable fee Parent Permission for email & iTunes Accounts FES iPad Student Handbook App approval form for teachers requesting new apps on iPads

Old Technology Inventories Recycled outdated technology materials with Del Val Realigned older iPads into classrooms (5 iPads in each room Prek-5th) Cleaned up network drive by erasing alumni folders & staff who have left the district
